In order to pay tribute to the late Andy Kessler, who passed on last Fall, Vans Syndicate has designed these two new shoes for this Spring, called the Old Skool “S” and the Sk8 Hi “S”. Both of these shoes were chosen to feature the Outlast material for maximum protection and ventilation. We have a good feeling that if there was a way to ask Andy Kessler his opinion on these shoes that he would be very pleased with the outcome of them both.
Both shoes will feature premium black leather on the toe and midfoot while black suede is used just about everywhere else. Perforated panels are also featured throughout the rest of the upper including on the tongue and near the ankles. Bright blue laces give this shoe a nice touch of color as well. On the heel, the “AK” logo patch is sewn on. Expect these in stores soon.
