Speaking about co-designers who are fond of engaging into collab projects with the most popular sneaker labels in town, we can come up with many names. But for Vans, a partnership with Manhattan-based shop, Supreme has been established. Not once or twice but many times that the two worked as a team. Today, Vans and Supreme are proud to present their latest teamwork output which is the Vans Mike Carroll x Supreme.
The Vans Mike Carroll pro model is a signature shoe made for professional skateboarder Mike Carroll from San Francisco who skated for H-Street then later joined the Plan B Skateboards team. Basically, this shoe appears to be a Half Cab look-alike with the slight chukka touch but its golden yellow pure suede composition is what makes it really stunning. Aside from that, a mesh paneling on the side gives a variation to the concept while the black mesh tongue with silver synthetic tongue label prompting the ‘Supreme’ namesake in longhand-writing font sums up the new look.
This Vans Mike Carroll x Supreme is scheduled to drop as part of the 2011 Spring/Summer collection.
