Have you ever wondered how sneaker designers come up with different blueprints to manipulate a unique and artistic shoe style? With Vans, nothing is impossible when it comes to the potential materials to be used in manufacturing a certain shoe design just like its latest Tapestry Pack. In a short description, tapestry is a form of textile art woven on a vertical loom which is composed of two sets of interlaces threads. Tapestry is weft-faced weaving where all the threads are hidden in the completed work and the output is a weft-faced weave having weft threads of different colors worked over portions of the warp to form the design.
Since tapestry is commonly used as drapery or decorative display, it is more focused on colorful designs. This makes it an adorable shoe upper. Vans designed the Cydeny, Cedar, and Bailie boot using tapestry on the entire upper with leather trimming and gum sole. The floral pattern looks so exotic and unique while the intricate detailing becomes the center of attention. The gold Vans tab branding appears on the side.
Watch out for this cool threesome in the upcoming months.
