Summer provokes a lot of gimmicks when it comes to products such as the one done by Vans and premium casual brand, Ludwig Van. The two labels collided for a special project called the Vans x Ludwig Van – Deadstock Canvas Pack. With Ludwig Van’s great influences from Ludwig Van Beethoven, the brand brings an exclusive reinvention by utilizing deadstock vintage canvas sheets discovered at an auction over ten years ago.
As a result, the team was able to produce skateboarding shoes with historical significance. A uniform style of Vans silhouettes with different printed designs run to almost a dozen. Assorted floral prints including checkered and patchwork patterns are featured on the sneakers’ upper with one common base – black canvas that is settled on white vulcanized rubber sole. Each shoe comes with complete D-ring belt, shoe bag, and flip book wrapped in a limited edition box.
