The new Vans Vault is designed by Taka Hayashi, giving it the name “Akat LX”. It comes in three styles, two in Tan premium leather and one in Brown suede, all with detailed patterns and Hayashi’s logo on the insole. The first pair comes with White leather laces while the other two comes with Brown leather laces. The Vans Vault Akat LX has a neat packaging with a cotton shoe bag and glossy Navy box. $240.
Vans Vault has teamed up with artist Robert Williams and they have worked together on both a pair of 46 LX and a pair of Chukka LX. Both of the sneakers will come in black suede and with checkered wire and red canvas, featuring comic illustrations from Robert Williams.
From the patented White sole, Vans is extending to a more interesting sole color scheme. Today’s Vans Authentic features a Yellow vulcanized sole underneath a White canvas upper. On the side is the Vans logo and on the back portion of the midsole is another Vans logo with “Off The Wall” phrase. You can have a pair at Caliroots for $81.
Vans has released a new pack, referred to as the “Mega Check” pack for the Fall 2009 collection. The slip-on kicks featured a variety of solid vibrant colors including red, purple, and green colorways perfect for a casual look. At the back of the shoe check out the heel that has checkered gum tags for its additional feature. Now available at Ripe.

The latest Vans Del Barco Chukka comes in a premium leather upper with a boat shoe boot overlay on its vulcanized sole. Its visible aluminum eyelets and the White detailed stitching on the toebox make a perfect contrast to the deep Black upper. The interior liner is made up of Orange and Black/White perf leather. The Vans Vault Del Barco Chukka is now available at selected Vans retailers.
Would you love a Red snakeskin sneaker? The Vans Half Cab x HUF EDT 3 Feet Hi Pack collab shoe features an upper made of snakeskin. It has very detailed paneling with the Half Cab patch logo on the side and on the tongue, and a HUF Red tab on the back portion of the midsole. One special feature of this collaborated shoe are the Red laces with the phrase, “EVEN SNAKES ARE AFRAID OF SNAKES”. And of course, the sole is done up in White vulcanized material.
