We don’t know exactly what it is but something about the canvas material just works so well with the Nike Vandal where it can easily look out of place on other shoes. At one point in time, the Nike Vandal was right alongside the Nike Dunk and the Nike Blazer, but somehow over the years, things have not gone so well for the shoe and it has not been able to make the comeback or stay in the spotlight in the same way that the other two have been able to. The Nike Vandal sure has seen a spike in popularity as of late, which we really like because it is a design that we have always really enjoyed. The Vandal has been seeing many colorways as of late, both very colorful and very subtle ones as well. This one however happens to fall somewhere a bit in the middle as it is not too wild but it isn’t too subtle either.

The shoe will feature a predominantly red upper but will be accented nicely by both black and white colors as well. Is it just us or has it been quite a while since there was a Vandal around that was actually worth reporting on? We can’t think of any Vandals in recent memory that had really wowed us, but we have to admit we are feeling these new Vandals in a predominantly purple colorway. The colorway has been described as being mostly club purple on the upper with black accents and a white swoosh. Additionally some snakeskin like material in black and gray can be found around the toe area as well as near the laces. All in all this is a very nice colorway and a good way for Nike to remind their fans that the Vandal hasn’t gone anywhere, it was just taking a little hiatus.
