Some of you may remember that just shortly after the fourth of July it was announced that Asics would be teaming up with SlamJam for a collaboration on a brand new sneaker. For those of you who aren’t aware of them yet, SlamJam is an Italian streetwear boutique that is located in Ferrara, Italy. Asics has been known to pick some good partners for their collaborations in the past and this one is looking like it will be no different.

This shoe is being officially called the SlamJam x Asics Gel Lyte III and we have to say that it is shaping up very nicely. This shoe will go for multiple shades of gray throughout the suede and mesh base. There will be hints of dark green as well as red and some blue mixed in there as well which will work great to highlight the colors of the Italian flag.
