Nike and its sub-brand, Jordan Brand tied-up for a special make-over of Paul Rodriguez’s signature sneaker, the Nike SB P-Rod. The elements were mixed up in a totally harmonious way that the end result earned the name Nike SB Paul Rodriguez P-Rod J-Rod.

Today on eBay, we are lucky to have found a brand-new pair of the Nike SB Paul Rodriguez P-Rod J-Rod, and here is the basic description. Basically, the shoe comes in beige leather upper and flaunts the famous elephant print along the forefoot base to the heel for a truly Air Jordan feel. The toe box features perforations while the side panel displays tacks detailing. White Swoosh is laid along the lateral for a subtle look and a match to the midsole. A hint of red appears in the form of top lace holders whereas the inside lining is done in black. Finally, Jumpman logo pops out on the tongue and rear, and a Max Air unit has been incorporated in the heel.

Hate it or like it, this Nike SB Paul Rodriguez P-Rod J-Rod has impressed many skateboarders and basketball lovers alike.

As we go along the Nike SB series seems to get all the more popular. When they first started out, the Nike SB line was not immediately accepted by most skaters because while they had nothing against Nike, skateboarding is an alternative sport and Nike was best at creating great products for more mainstream sports. They have definitely proved to both consumers and hardcore skaters that they have what it takes though and they have come a long way in the industry. Part of this is due to all of their signature shoes, especially the P-Rod.

This latest Nike SB Zoom P-Rod IV in white and lucid green won’t be released until summer 2011 but when it finally hits we predict it to be huge. It will have a solid white base with perforated midpanels with minimal accents of lucid green being featured on the outsole and inner lining, tongue and heel branding.
