They are a hybrid shoe, made up of many former Air Jordan styles and put in a color scheme that everyone is familiar with. These shoes were made to support the USA Basketball team in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Nike today announced the uniforms of the China Federations in Beijing. Yi Jianlian was there wearing his new Nike Hyperdunk. The kicks comes with Yi Logo on the tongue and the number 11 in the inner toe area. The Hyperdunk China Olympics adopts Flywire technology that allows athletes to be lighter on their feet and faster on the track and on the court.
