We really like it when a collaboration goes well above and beyond what is expected by most people. Usually when two companies do a collaboration they usually just use one model of sneaker and make a couple or a few colorways of it, call it a day and that usually works for just about everyone. When Steven Alan teams up with Nike though he has some very different plans. They definitely took one model of shoe and made it in a few different colorways and then did that three more times with three different models. This is the new Steven Alan x Nike Sportswear Collection.

This collection will make use of the Nike Air Zoom Toki, Nike Air Zoom Magma, Nike Air Zoom Lava Dome and Nike Talache Low. We really like how these shoes have a sophisticated look to them, but what is your opinion about them?

One of the best partnerships ever done this Fall is the merging of two giants, Nike and West NYC. The collaboration of the two moguls brings a wonderful collection of Fall-inspired sneakers from Nike’s best lines. This Fall running pack is based on the lovely Fall colors that can be seen throughout New York City’s Central Park.

Among the kicks involved in this project are the Nike Air Max 1 and Lunarlite series. Each model comes in two colorways with bright and dark color schemes. For instance, the Air Max 1 which is a running icon comes in a pair that uses dark brown nubuck base with matching purple and green overlays plus beige mesh insert. The sole unit features white mid and purple outsole. On the other hand, the second pair is a grey/purple/white combination.

Now, let’s proceed to the remaining Lunarlite pairs with one appearing in gray/black/blue/pink and the other in gray/purple/pink/white. Both pairs are equipped with Lunarlon soles.

Here’s a look at an update of the soon to be released Nike Sportswear Blazer “Nylon” pack. The kicks feature a nylon upper with subtle grid pattern covering the sneaker. It will be released sometime this June 2009 in three colorways.

Lance Armstrong and the Livestrong foundation has made another collaboration with Nike Sportswear, touching up three major favorites – the Air Max 1, Air Max 90 and Air Max 180. The three Air Max models received a customized Livestrong treatment visible on each sneaker’s tongue. These shoes will be available on May 16^th at selected Nike retailers.

Maharam Limited Edition was given a chance to innovate Nike Sportswear 1 World AF1 in collaboration with Dutch designer Hella Jongerius. The suede upper comes in various shades with detailed embroidery stitching that creates some unique artwork. The shoe sits on a Grey/Moss Green sole with the Swoosh in Brown leather suede. The amazing textile upper was woven in Italy and embroidered in Germany while the shoe as a whole was engineered in China. $250.

A collaboration between Nike Sportswear and Fragment Design led to another innovation on sneakers. As a product, the Tier Zero line has been released in two colorways showing a small Fragment Design logo on the heel tab. The cool tennis shoe comes in Red/White and Blue/White colorways.

Nike Sportswear and an American magazine that focuses on pop culture and fashion, Nylon Magazine worked together to create two Nylon versions of the Dunk Hi. An output of two new different colorways was presented – the Pink and Green, where both feature a multicolor Nylon logo tag on the tongue. These cool shoes will be featured in several fashion shows during the NY Fashion Week. Nylon Magazine called this creation “The Most Awesome Shoes In The World” in one of its articles. Watch out for the sneaker’s release later this year.

Nike AF1 together with the Asian brand CLOT has something red and well, “lucky” to bring us good fortune as we welcome the Chinese New Year. CLOT x Nike AF1 was introduced to us last December and it now comes in a special package, “candy box” to symbolize the giving of sweets for a sweet and wealthy life. These are the new Nike Air Wildwood Premium kicks that come from the “Check Pack” of the Nike ACG Collection from Nike Sportswear. The pack consists of the Nike Air Wildwood premium and another Air Revaderchi Premium. This dunk highlights different materials such as soft suede and premium leather. Of course, it wouldn’t be part of the Check Pack if not for the lining and midsole of the shoe which has a Purple and Gray check pattern. Nike ACG is turning 20 y’all so better anticipate more of these kicks anytime soon!
