Here’s a look at an update of the soon to be released Nike Sportswear Blazer “Nylon” pack. The kicks feature a nylon upper with subtle grid pattern covering the sneaker. It will be released sometime this June 2009 in three colorways.
Lance Armstrong and the Livestrong foundation has made another collaboration with Nike Sportswear, touching up three major favorites – the Air Max 1, Air Max 90 and Air Max 180. The three Air Max models received a customized Livestrong treatment visible on each sneaker’s tongue. These shoes will be available on May 16th at selected Nike retailers.
Maharam Limited Edition was given a chance to innovate Nike Sportswear 1 World AF1 in collaboration with Dutch designer Hella Jongerius. The suede upper comes in various shades with detailed embroidery stitching that creates some unique artwork. The shoe sits on a Grey/Moss Green sole with the Swoosh in Brown leather suede. The amazing textile upper was woven in Italy and embroidered in Germany while the shoe as a whole was engineered in China. $250.
A collaboration between Nike Sportswear and Fragment Design led to another innovation on sneakers. As a product, the Tier Zero line has been released in two colorways showing a small Fragment Design logo on the heel tab. The cool tennis shoe comes in Red/White and Blue/White colorways.
Looking for the basics? The NSW Tokyo Collection will be released soon at Nike HK. This is a collection of sweat shirts, jackets, rain coats, pants, and hoodies, all in basic sporty style and materials. Also watch out for the release at Lane Crowford soon.
Nike Sportswear and an American magazine that focuses on pop culture and fashion, Nylon Magazine worked together to create two Nylon versions of the Dunk Hi. An output of two new different colorways was presented – the Pink and Green, where both feature a multicolor Nylon logo tag on the tongue. These cool shoes will be featured in several fashion shows during the NY Fashion Week. Nylon Magazine called this creation “The Most Awesome Shoes In The World” in one of its articles. Watch out for the sneaker’s release later this year.

Nike AF1 together with the Asian brand CLOT has something red and well, “lucky” to bring us good fortune as we welcome the Chinese New Year. CLOT x Nike AF1 was introduced to us last December and it now comes in a special package, “candy box” to symbolize the giving of sweets for a sweet and wealthy life. The concept of the sneakers and the candy box follows the traditional Chinese symbolism that invites luck for this year 2009. HK$2,800.
