The AJF 3 Premier sneakers are now available at Nike, and man, they’re something terrible (in a good way). The white version is especially breathtaking with the contrasting white/gold/red with elephant print. You can also grab the classic black/red colorway, which is always a great choice. Here’s a good side by side comparison of the new Nike Air Force 1 inspired by the OG colorway of the Nike Air Max 97. It’s shown right next to the OG colorway of the Nike Air Max 97 to show the similarities. This Nike Air Force 1 sneaker was supposed to feature a full length Air sole but it was scrapped. It still features reflective 3M material as well as all the other goodies to make it look like the 97.

If you haven’t gotten your hands on these Air Jordan 3 (III)/Nike Air Force 1 fusion joints yet, you can grab them now at Eastbay. This colorway in particular is the Black/Scenery Green. It’s a little more yellow than green, we think. The upper is full-grain leather with ‘Jordan heritage material.’ They have a full size run, and then some. We showed you the red-toe version of the Nike Air Force 1 1World by ?uestlove, the funky, huge afro sportin’ and ever talented drummer for the Hip-Hop supergroup, The Roots (one of the few, if not only rap act who play their own instruments). These gold-toe versions might just trump the hype for the red-toe version though. These sneakers will be sold solely at Alife Rivington Club on Friday, August 1st at 11am. ?uestlove will be performing there for all customers who picked up a pair 5:30pm til 8pm, and that should be worth the cost of the Nikes alone. It seems as though even sneakerheads have gotten behind Barack Obama. 25-year-old Van Taylor from Cincinnati designed the custom Nike Air Force 1’s with the future of the US in mind, and now they’re up for auction. Whatever your views are politically, at least sneakerheads doing something other than listening to Soulja Boy is a good thing. The proceeds of this sneaker auction go to Russell Simmons’ Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. $Bid. Read more »
