They come in a glass case, and since Tony Parker had his first ever video game cover appearance this year in EA’s NBA Live 09, EA has endorsed these shoes and put a picture of the cover on the bottom of the outsole. $800.

In our travels we’ve met plenty of Australians, most have been the friendliest, albeit rowdy too, people in the world. Not a bad thing. Nike has honored the Australian Basketball Team with some Hyperdunks for the Olympics, and they’re the Ants Pants (as Aussies would say). It features the Kangaroo colors of green and gold that the Aussies love for their Rugby team as well as the Aussie flag with the British Union Jack in the canton. Will the Aussies do well in the Olympics? No worries, mate.

OK, Kobe was crowned MVP this past year, he came up a bit short after an honorable effort in the Playoffs and Finals, but the new sneaker Nike has designed for him is sure to strike fear into the hearts of opponents like deadly venom. The Black Mamba is the deadliest snake on the planet. And, even though these snake sneaks are part of the Friendlies Pack, there ain’t nothin’ friendly about them… these kicks are mean! I have to say, with all the releases of the Hyperdunk from the McFly version to the Olympic PE versions, to this one; Nike hasn’t found a winning basketball shoe like this since the Huarache 2K4. Nike just upped the game with these Nike Hyperdunk basketball shoes in White/Metallic Gold. This colorway doesn’t resemble any Marty McFly Back to the Future sneakers. This model is purely a futuristic basketball shoe in a clean colorway. You can get it pre-order. $150.

Nike will be dropping a Hyperdunk inspired by Marty McFly’s Nike Air McFly sneaker from the classic movie, Back to the Future. Supposedly, this colorway (grey and blue) will be released in early July 2008. [SneakerNews] Read more »
