Ronnie Fieg, a New York-based sneaker designer has been making waves in the shoe industry for many years. His collaboration began with Asics and his Gel Lyte III design which was featured in The Wall Street Journal. Designed like the other Asics Gel Lyte IIIs, this ultra marine colorway is now on the waiting list and will soon hit the streets. It features an all-ultra marine upper with nubuck mudguard and side panels, and tonal mesh toe box and collar. Chirimen is a traditional Japanese weaving technique that was first developed about 500 years ago. The cloth fabric that is made using this technique is also known as chirimen. Asics usually produces a particular sneaker in its most colorful aura, be it pastel or neon-ignited schemes. Yet, Asics’ latest produce is not one of those sugar candy pieces but it still resembles sweetness in its black and white a la cookies-n-cream colorway.

Asics once again throws a nice shot of collaboration with sneaker retailer, SlamJam using the Gel Lyte III silhouette. If you haven’t seen any Asics shoe in gradient design yet, this is a good chance to lend an eye for this next release owns a simple yet ruggedly handsome looking pair of runners.

This Asics Gel Lyte III owns an upper that is made up of suede with a mixture of mesh. The toe box and collar are the specific points where mesh construction has been built while the remainder is done up in suede.
