Two new colorways of the Asics GEL Lyte 3 are now available. The first is a charcoal/charcoal which will feature extra black laces and a black/gray/silver pair that will feature yellow and turquoise accents as well as turquoise laces. These are available now in Japan and very soon in the US.
Another collaboration was done between Asics and David Z in creating a Gel Lyte III in Super Blue. Facets of the sneaker are the entirely Nubuck, have a perforated toebox and side panel, Black reflective 3M material, and speckled Grey midsole. The Asics Gel Lyte III – Super Blue will hit DavidZ.com on May 1st.
Asics has released two sneakers for the Spring 2009 Collection, in two identical designs. The Gel Lyte III in a Black/Turquoise/Purple colorway and the GT-II in Navy Blue/White/Infrared. Each shoe has distinguished motif though they likely come up with the same design. The GT-II however has rare color combos that makes it perfect for the Summer. These new Asics are now available at Sneakers N Stuff.
Asics is all set for 2009 as they will be releasing their Retro Running 2009 collection. The Gel Lyte Speed is reintroduced in this pack. Part of this catalog is their flagship Gel Lyte III which is available in different colorways as well as th GT Quick and the GT II, also in several colorways. An interesting collection of Asics for the year ahead!
The Asics Gel Lyte III’s are releasing on September 27th are limited to 350 pairs. The shoes are black, grey, purple and white, with a color changing effect on the stripes.
