We really like the Cortez sneaker even though it hasn’t been as popular as it once was for quite a long time. This new Nike Classic Cortez Leather 09 Lucky Green has us really excited though, with it’s white upper and perforated swoosh and green accents and laces.
The Nike Challenger isn’t the only pair of classic Nikes to get the vintage treatment this fall. A new colorway of the Cortez will also be vintaged. They will feature an upper made out of both suede and nylon, in a blue and orange colorway with distressed effects.
Nike will soon release a few new Cortez sneakers, and proves that the shoe is still a relevant addition to the Nike family. This pack will feature pairs in black/white, black/white/pink, and orange/white. These should be available at Nike retailers soon, but if you’re itching for a pair, a little digging might uncover some.
Colorful carnival artworks influenced the creation of the “Fun House Pack” consisting of a Dunk Low, Blazer, and Cortez sneakers for both kids and women. Since carnivals are the most fun and entertaining at night, the “Fun House Pack” sneakers come in colorful and glow-in-the-dark colorways. Now available at your favorite Nike outlets.
This new Cortez features Fly-wire technology which means the upper is ultralight, durable and flexible. This is still the Cortez in all it’s glory though complete with enlarged swoosh and a nylon and suede upper. It comes in 5 colorways, red, blue, pink, green and orange.
The Nike Cortez Brothers Pack includes a blue nylon Cortez and a silver metallic Cortez Flymotion. Two toys are also included to match the designs of each shoe. The toys are based on Nike’s co-founders Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman. The shoes and toys represent the personalities of the 2 founders.
