In its most recent collaboration with Concepts, a pair of New Balance 999 receives one of the most admiring designs that the brand has ever made. Take this pair as homage to the late US President John F. Kennedy.

Basically, this New Balance 999 brings memories of JF Kennedy into life especially his love for sailing and other outdoor activities. Such a personality can be described by taking note of this shoe’s details. Suede is the major component of this shoe accompanied by mesh which is present on the toe box. Tones of grey and tan are being depicted on the suede-filled areas while Concepts designs the inner lining depicting its own personal intention. It attaches a red CNCPTS flag on the top eyelet to finally show off. Speckles of blue makes the white laces appear cool and at the same time pointing out a match to the blue suede fragment along the heel with the shoe’s model number.

Clearly, this New Balance 999 x Concepts renders a subtle colorway yet strong image considering that the mixture of colors used includes white, grey, tan, royal blue, and hint of red. The toe box which comes in white mesh perfectly coordinated with the light grey suede forefoot and midsection while the N logo appears in a darker tone of grey. A tan strip on the toe that gives detailing also puts emphasis on the heel tab, whereas the heel gives a striking shade of royal with the “999″ label. The bluish midsole with a mix of white even make the bottom attractive. It is a different scene when you take a look on the inside since the liner is graciously done up with blue, white, and red graphical accents and a CNCPTS flag. The tongue finally sports flags and a New Balance branding.
