An innovation comes across Nike’s high-performance running shoe, the Air Max when Nike Sportswear design team set a lightweight sneaker of the highest technological mark. The result is a shoe that has reduced weight of 66% due to the acespan mesh, a lightweight material developed for the 2008 Nike LunaRacer. It features an upper entirely built with Flywire technology that keeps the shoe extremely lightweight.

Staying true to its past, the Nike Air Maxim 1+ has leather base and a forefoot injected with micro perforations. It has Air sole unit in the heel for cushioning, and rubber outsole for durability and traction. The prefix + in the shoe’s name indicates that you can add a small transmitter inside the sole that connects to an iPod or Nike SportBand to let you measure pace, time, calories burnt, and distance. This is a 100% hi-tech shoe in Lyon blue monochromatic colorway.

Being an Ari Max fan is definitely a good area to align yourself with in the sneaker world. With all of the colorways that get released every year as a part of the Nike Air Max lineup, it’s no surprise that some colorways just don’t make it all the way to full production and end up stuck as unreleased samples. There are many different reasons that a shoe could get stuck as an unreleased sample although the unfortunate part is that we are never usually given the exact reason as to why it doesn’t make it to full production. Today we are going to be looking at a shoe that just couldn’t quite make it, this is the new Nike Air Maxim 1 Trainer in Sail and Dark Cinder.

While this shoe may appear to have a predominantly white upper, the real color that is used here is called sail. This is then accented by dark cinder which all sits on top of a gum sole.

Nike is known for releasing packs of sneakers with similar colorways spanning across different models of sneakers and it is one of the things that has helped them gain so much success over the years. The strange thing about these sneakers is that even though they are being released together and feature similar colorways, they don’t seem to be a part of any specific pack. This is the new Nike Air Maxim 1+ along with the Nike Trainer ACG in dark shadow and varsity purple colorways.

The majority of the uppers on both of these sneakers will be made up of dark shadow which give the shoes an overall dark although nice look. They will be accented throughout the uppers by varsity purple as well as minimal accents of pink as well. Still no release date information for these ones but keep checking back for more information as it is released.

The Nike Sportswear Omega Pack has already started to hit retailers and we can’t think of any better way to celebrate than with an old school runner that has all of the touches of modern technology. It looks like Nike may have heard our wishes because that is exactly what we are getting here and we couldn’t be happier. This is the brand new Nike Air Maxim 1 in an anthracite and lime colorway. Let’s take a closer look at what this one has going on under the hood.

The upper of this shoe will be predominantly black but it will feature accents of both white and lime throughout the rest of the upper. It will feature the looping Omega tongue tag and with the addition of Nike’s new size tags everything is all set to really come full circle. These ones are available now in Japan and in the US very soon.

The Nike Air Maxim 1 has for a while been one of our favorite versions of the Air Max and now that we have this new version, the Nike Air Maxim 1 Torch, there is that much more reason to love it. This new colorways has been spotted recently at select retailers overseas and it is making us really hopeful that it will eventually see a stateside release.

One of the first things that you will notice about this shoe is the Flywire panels that are featured throughout the mid panels and also the fact that they have managed to include both mesh and suede materials here as well. The upper is a really nice mixture of white and gray and features just the right amount of orange accents to make things really pop. Like we said before, these are available overseas but stay tuned for more info on a stateside release.

A whole lot of great colorways of the Air Maxim 1 have been popping up lately, probably due in part to the fact that they are one of the few shoes to feature the Torch technology. Either way, we are glad to see so many new pictures coming around, because these have been a personal favorite model of ours for a while now and options are always a good thing.

On this pair black is used for the cloth build as well as on the mid panel flywire section. Club purple can be spotted on the tongue as well as on the swoosh and the eyelets. Aquamarine laces make up the laces and the inner, although to be honest it looks more like yellow to us. A gum outsole finishes off this package and is a nice little addition to the shoe. These should be available very soon, so keep an eye out.
