The Air Jordan Spiz’ike upper is composed of predominately black patent leather. This comes obvious on the toe box through the lace panel and tongue while textured mudguard and heel add some detailing. The red Jumpman logo stands out on the tongue accompanied by a clear lace lock. Trapezoidal rubber strap incorporated on the heel is designed for additional heel support whereas the mesh rubber mid-section panel is intended for better ventilation.

Glossy padded collar teams up with the red inner liner revealing custom graphics of Brooklyn icon. Stealth heel tab and heel panel has been accessorized with signature logo. Also, midsole comes in black with stealth outsole.

Finally, the day that most sneakerheads have long been waiting is here – May 8th – the official release date of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike. This scorching shoe was once featured to have adopted some of its attributes from a couple of Air Jordans.

Let us reiterate the Air Jordan Spiz’ike features… One of its stand-out attributes is the elephant print covering the toe mudguard and heel. The base of the Spiz’ike comes in white leather while the remainder was done up in a contrasting color – black. The mid-section is a mesh material that was intended for better air flow.

Furthermore, the Spiz’ike is equipped with a unique interior that depicts popular lines from the Mars Blackmon commercial – “I can fly”, “Michael Jordan Flight School”, and “Do You Know?”. These phrases were written in red font that goes with the color of the outsole, lace locks and bebray, and it is the reason why it is called the Infrared colorway.

In Air Jordan history, American film director, Spike Lee has been a part of its contributing entities when he did a commercial picture featuring the Air Jordan IV. No doubt, Lee himself has been a fan of the Jordans as he was spotted once wearing a pair of Air Jordan Spiz’ike in Knicks game.

Similar to what Spike Lee has obtained, the upcoming Spiz’ike sports a slightly modified design. With the “Grape” label, this shoe secretly features the concept. We are then privileged to scrutinize once again the details of this intriguing sneaker.

Visibly, White leather covers up most of the upper with heavy perforations. It leaves a spot on the forefoot and heel where elephant print overlay appears. The Grey tongue displays a Green Jumpman logo. It further features a clear lace stopper, trapezoidal strap, and a Black/White midsole plus Purple outsole. Number “23″ finds its place on the heel area with a Spike Lee mock-up logo at the center. The debray labels were not of our concern for this time since they remain to be defined once this Spiz’ike version drops next month.

Coming up soon is the next Air Jordan hybrid called the Spiz’ike. This shoe took inspiration from the Air Jordan 3 Retro with its elephant print mudguard and heel section. This particular print is one of the most celebrated looks in the sneaker history.

Aside from the AJ3, some of the Spiz’ike’s attributes were derived from the Air Jordan 4 Retro. An example of this is the signature over-molded mesh that reduces weight, increases breathability, and gives the shoe a fresh, timeless look. The distinctive multi-position TPU trapezoid lace loops that offer up to 18 lacing options for customized comfort is another characteristic that the Spiz’ike inherited from the AJ4 Retro.

The Air Jordan Spiz’ike is also unique in a way that its sock liner received Infrared text treatment from the Mars Blackmon commercial series with the following phrases that read, “I can fly”, “Michael Jordan Flight School”, and Do You Know?”. Infrared lace stopper with a Jumpman print is an accent including the New Blue Jumpman on the tongue that matches up with the heel loop.
