We just got in some exclusive images of the actual Air Jordan 18/5 Collezione AKA Countdown Pack. They of course, feature the return of the Air Jordan 5 Fire Red and the Air Jordan 18. The Fire Red 5’s are the highlight for most people and most people will be able to grab the pack when it releases on the 23rd of August. It’s kind of a premature re-release of a colorway that just recently was retroed in the Air Jordan 5 Fire Red, but this sneaker will always be popular whenever Nike feels the penchant to drop them time and time again. Personally, this original colorway of this sneaker is my favorite Air Jordan of all time. The Air Jordan 8 in the white/red/black colorway has been dubbed the “Bugs Bunny” Jordan from the commercials way back in the day. There’s something about the shaggy carpet tongue and the straps that just get me. I had to get my retro version a few years back, but now it’s back in full force as part of the 15/8 Countdown Pack, which might be one of the best Air Jordan Collezione’s that’ll drop. For now you can grab it early. But, if you’re gonna grab it in the stores, you gotta do it in November when these babies drop with the Air Jordan 15 Black/Red we showed you. Blue and grey elephant print on a black fusion sneaker, are you kidding me? This colorway is straight sick. It’s kind of like those Air Jordan 12 Nubuck that was a website only limited edition a few years back, except that these are much tighter than the Air Jordan 12 Nubuck because it features the best parts of the Air Jordan 3. What’s good about these is that they’re not shiny with patent leather, it’s a subtle, soft black nubuck-ish feel but contrasted with a bright electric blue. Ok, I gotta say that these AJF 3 joints are the best I’ve seen so far in the series. Call them the “Melo” colors if you like… this color combination be it the North Carolina, UCLA, or Denver Nuggets pattern is the best color pattern that Nike puts forward, arguably. These are general release AJF 3’s which mean you can grab them at Foot Locker and other run-of-the-mill shops, but who knows how long these will last in your area. They dropped on July 30th everywhere. Check the Air Jordan Release Dates for future releases. $150. Read more »
