Basically there’s a continuance from 2008 edition to the 2009 edition of the Nike Air Force 1’s and this year around there are just upgraded toe boxes with subtle graphics that make the difference. Overall design is just the same classic and simple. Don’t get me wrong, that’s the thing that makes this a good pick among all the shoes! That’s why they’re called Air Force 1’s!

The shoe uses a rarely seen and unique material for the upper section, and the classic elephant print that many of us have come to know and love, on the toe, heel cap and around the laces. Jim Lasser displayed these unique shoes at an exhibition in New York, September 4th. From a distance, it looks like a regular pair of Air Force One’s, but upon closer inspection, you can see the specially made sole. The right side has an engraved half portrait of Obama, while the left side features a side profile with “A black man runs and a nation is behind him.”, in the lower half of the sole.
