To further explore nature, Nike Sportswear and Boston’s Bodega partnered for a special teamwork.

The Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka was the team’s chosen canvas for the project. Applying tan suede on the upper is a good display of a pro-Earth attitude. The humble tone was then matched up with brown strips creating the woven part and finally finished it with mocha shoe laces. If you notice, the entire upper including the tongue wear heavy perforation for the purpose of enhanced ventilation. Bodega finally showed up its logo on the tongue in an embroidered form whereas Nike prefers to affix its branding on the heel.

For truly remarkable experience, Nike applied thick Footscape sole in beige with black speckles and finished with gum outsole.

This is set to drop on May 28, 2011 at Nike Sportswear and Bodega outlets.

The shoe got a big update last year when the Nike Air Footscape Free Motion came out and introduced the Flywire in the upper of the sneaker which made it much stronger and more lightweight all at the same time. This helped to bring some more people around to that side of the fence, but we think there are still some people that need a bit of convincing. This new Nike Air Footscape Woven in collaboration with Livestrong, was created with the help of design from the London based boutique, Hideout. The shoe, complying with the standard for Livestrong kicks, features a black, yellow and white colorway. The black upper is covered in horsehair.

Here is a first look at 2 new Nike Air Footscapes that were created by Hiroshi Fujiwara, of Japan. The first thing that you will notice about these shoes is that the laces go up the side of the shoe instead of the center. The 2 colorways that will be released are yellow/white/black and black/white/blue.
