New Balance is a company that always knows just how to pick the right partner for a new collaboration. Some of the collaborations that they have had their hands in the past have been totally legendary and some of those more classic ones can fetch an extremely high amount of money on eBay. Today though we are going to take our first look at the new 24 Kilates x New Balance 577.

Although the images that we have at this time for the sneakers are still only preview shots, it is still enough to get a decent look at what the shoes will have in store for us when they do actually release. The shoes will both feature a predominantly gray upper with accents of black mixed in as well and one of the shoes will feature blue accents while the other one will feature red accents. You may not have ever heard of them before especially if you are living in the states, but Size? is actually a very well established UK retailer with a long history of working on collaborations with sneaker companies like Reebok and now here with this New Balance 577. They will be releasing two different versions of the 577 that we are going to take a bit of a closer look at right now.

The first pair in the pack will make use of an olive upper with suede, mesh and leather all coming together to make up one definitely fantastic shoe. The N logo on the midfoot will come in orange to add some color. The second pair will feature a black upper, but in the toe box cross stitched nylon will replace the mesh from the previous pair. Both will feature gum bottoms and should release later this year.

These two upcoming Spring colorways of the New Balance 577 will officially mark the shoe’s 20th year of existence. Of course, New Balance had to break out a couple of fresh colorways for the occasion, which is exactly what they did. You can see from the tongue tag of these shoes that they were made in England, Flimbsy to be exact.

There is a lot of interesting stuff going on here in these shoes. They get wrapped up in a handful of really nice materials including mesh, suede and leather. The suede and mesh will be the backdrop for the reptile textured leather that will wrap all over the midsection of the shoe. Both colorways will be pretty much the same, with one featuring red on the overlay and matching midsole section, while the other will feature green in those same areas.
