New Balance is all set to kick off a great new decade of sneakers with their new 574 Sonic Pack. One of the first things that will become instantly apparent once you take a good look at these shoes is tht in places where one would normally find lots of stitching to hold the shoe together, there is absolutely none. New Balance has done this by implementing technique relying only on heat and pressure. Never has the word seamless been so perfect to describe a pair of shoes than it is with this new 574 Sonic Pack. Each pair in the pack will come with an upper made out of suede and mesh in a solid colorway, while the midsole will feature both white and black. The release of these is still somewhat far off, for now tentatively being slated for fall/winter of 201, but that just gives you more time to pick your favorite.

New Balance has definitely been hard at work so far this year ensuring that they have a full stock locked and loaded of excellent sneakers and designs. For this new pack they have reworked the always popular 574 model, this time around using a rubber-like sythetic material on the upper of the shoe which is known as ceracom. The use of this material will help the shoe to not only remain clean but to last longer as well. At this point three different colorways of this shoe have been anounced for release and that will include a brown and gray pair, a blue and gray pair as well as a black and gray pair. These shoes should be available at the time of this writing if not very shortly afterwards. What do you think of the material used here on these shoes? We think it looks good in the pictures but want the chance to actually touch as well.

The beauty of the New Balance 574 Lux is not so much in the look, but in the feel. This shoe is made from leather so smooth and soft, that it has been compared to the like of a luxury handbag. Having this on your feet could possibly be the most comfortable thing that you could do all year.

Almond x New Balance 574 Customizable

New Balance and Almond have worked together before but not to this extent. Presenting the Almond x New Balance 574 which was made with the focus of meeting the creativity of the wearer. I said creativity because there are some parts of the shoe which are customizable. The upper can be modified because there are velcro patches which you can clip depending on your mood. The heel area is also a no escape and can be modified with velcro patches. The shoes’ other features include premium black leather and a speckled midsole. $258.

The New Balance M574 TBO is the latest New Balance 574 Trail Edition, built for rugged terrain. The difference is that this colorway is straight up bananas (well oranges are more fitting). The colorway is reminiscent of the Nike Air Mowabb. Overkill’s got them in. 90€.
