The Supra Cuban will be making its big return in 2010 although it has been given some slight updates and is now going under the name of Supra Cuban 1.5. The shoe will still make use of the hybrid fastening approach but there is now a new lacing system that is in place instead of the flap and chain look that we grew accustomed to in 2009. Leather laces will wrap over the midfoot of the shoe and there will now be no more flap. One lace loop will be featured on either side of the upper to hold the matching laces in place. Also two different types of materials will be used with the perforated leather versions getting one white and one black colorway while the canvas versions will get one gray and one red colorway. At this time these are expected to hit store shelves on the 15th of February.
