With the World Series here once again, Philadelphians are wondering if this can finally be the year the curse will be broken. The man who founded Pennsylvania and Philadelphia has a statue sitting on top of city hall, and it is said that for a long time no building in the city was allowed to be higher than city hall. In the 1980’s big business moved in and buildings taller than that started popping up, and no Philadelphia team has won a championship since then. Could this be the year? Only time will tell. $25.
