Featured Shoes: Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid Sneakers

Nike introduced the Huarache back in 1992 as a basketball shoe and received some criticisms as it was the first model to portray an exposed ankle. Critics as they call themselves even labeled the Nike Huarache as “sandal” but despite the opposition’s exploited ideas Nike remained firm and pursued more colorways. The first to wear the Nike Air Huarache was NBA star Scottie Pippen who was followed by five more rookies. The promotion was somewhat successful that is why today, Nike is bringing a new image of this first-oppressed pair with the new tag, Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid.

For the month of November, Nike decided to launch the Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid in two colorways – obsidian/white and a combination of white, neutral grey, and varsity purple. The same design features the same exposed ankle with midfoot strap of mesh and rubber. The toe box is the sole part of this Huarache that receives perforations as some portions were designed with cutouts to achieve lightweight. Swoosh appears along the lower heel portion while NIKE branding prompts on the strap and tongue.

Should you be interested in any of these Zoom Huarache colorways, sneak out at selected retailers on November.
