In different sport divisions, Nike always excel when it comes to trainer sneakers. Aside from being the basketball tycoon, it also creates a monster image in football, soccer, baseball, and the like. Nike Trainer 1 Mid entered the baseball arena and started to develop player exclusives. Among the lucky baseball stars to receive a PE is Yu Darvish, one of the best pitchers in all of Japanese professional baseball.
The Nike Trainer 1 Mid – Yu Darvish PE is a composition of White leather toe, heel, and collar with mixing Blue and Silver mid-section. The Flywire design goes tonal on the panel but it gets obvious like an emblazonment. Unlike most of the Swooshes being used, the Trainer 1′s is distinct with its non-leather texture with outline stitching. This can be seen in Yellow on the outer side while Blue on the inner side.
In addition to the Yu Darvish PE’s unique features is the embroidered label on the heel that displays large font reading, “FANS ARE” (left) “FAMILY!!!” (right). This was in reference to Darvish’s particular line when he mentioned that he was pitching for his family, fans, and teammates – in an interview. The PE was provided with a custom box featuring Japanese characters that only Darvish can translate.
