Nike SB Blazer Dharma Initiative

From the popular television series, Lost comes a Nike SB Blazer that took inspiration from the Dharma Initiative, a fictional research project featured in the show. This particular sneaker is done up in Beige canvas upper with hints of White that are visible on the Swoosh, shoe laces, heel tab, and textured rubber sole. The colorway is an influence of the jumpsuits that the members on the Lost Island who worked for the Dharma Initiative project wore. With regards to the branding, the Nike SB is visible on the tongue while the SHOE large print which replaces the original NIKE label is present on the heel tab. This specific branding was also used by the Lost Island members in labeling all their rations with their logo and name of the product. This Nike SB Blazer Dharma Initiative is one of the simplest forms in the 2010 lineup but it doesn’t mean it has lesser significant than the rest. The inspiration of its creation solely indicates how creative Nike is in turning its sneakers into life touching pieces based on a specific television series.
