In celebration of the 33rd Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Nike has unleashed a running shoe with an exclusive fresh design. The Nike LunarGlide 2 dubbed as ‘Chicago Marathon’ joined the nearly 40,000 marathoners that commenced a race at Columbus Avenue on October 10th.
With Nike’s breakthrough technology, this innovative LunarGlide 2 has been integrated with Lunarlon cushioning that is designed to absorb shock for a smooth ride. Basically, the toe box is infused with breathable mesh with leather overlays, Flywire midsection for lightweight construction, solid heel cap, and mesh collar. In honor of Chicago’s great event, a “CHI” label appears on the tongue whereas printed Swoosh prompts on the side. An aggressive Lunar sole complements the impressive upper.
If you were one of those Chicago Marathon participants and haven’t gotten a souvenir for the event, you can grab a pair of this Nike LunarGlide 2 at Six Point in Chicago, IL.
