The Nike x Livestrong project has never ended. Every now and then, the brand gives us a preview about the latest revamps and updates such as the one we have today – the Nike Free Run2 x Livestrong. We are used to seeing a Livestrong special using the mixture of black and varsity maize, but not this time because the Free Run2 that we are to feature comes in a colorway that is way far from the patented tone.
To benefit cancer victims through the Livestrong Foundation, Nike once again designed a Livestrong-inspired shoe based on the existing running silhouette, the Free Run2. Dark grey is the major tone used in the upper with the leather mudguard and overlays plus mesh inserts. It owns team red detailing that appears underneath the outer layering. White earns a positive contrast as seen on the Swoosh and sole unit. The official Livestrong logo flaunts on the tongue in replacement of the Nike branding.
This elite running model is among the most competent ones, and with its association with the Livestrong project, it sure will gain more market that means additional funding to the foundation.
