Aurora Borealis is a famous phenomenon in the northern hemisphere which makes Alaska a popular travel destination. The so-called northern lights appear when the sky is so dark and science research suggests that it is caused by radiation which is emitted as light from atoms in the upper atmosphere as they are hit by swiftly moving electrons and protons. The type of atom determines the color. The sun also seems to have an influence since auroras become brighter, more distinctive, and widespread following two days of intense sunshine.
With this marvelous characteristic, Aurora Borealis became an inspiration to different fields including the sneaker industry. If you recall, Asics showed up in a color-up that depicts the attractive lights in the winter skies of northern hemisphere. Taking up the same track, sneaker customizer Ecentrik Artistry was able to draw another concept out of the stunning phenomenon, creating an array of colors styled after the real life rare sightings of the same name using the Nike Dunk High.
Two tones of green have been utilized by the upper with one appearing as neon and the other as light green. On the lower part of the upper is a yellow-speckled black midsole and landscape graphics of the site in plain black. To represent snow as Alaska’s known for is the white accent revealed by the Swoosh and outsole.
Although this is a 1-of-1 shoe, variations of this shoe can and will be made upon request. If interested, email info@ecentrikart.net for information.

Thanks for the love, guys!
