For a change, Nike partnered with Maharam, the leading supplier of textiles to commercial architects and interior designers. The team agreed to work on the Nike Dunk High and instead of using the same leather on the upper, the collaborator has chosen to utilize special woven materials.
A collection of Dunk Highs was created with five different colorways. By mixing bright and dark leather overlays with woven textiles on specified parts, a new set of color-ups was created. To name the mixture are red/black with red inner liner, purple/white with purple inner liner, and black/pinkish-white and yellow/black, both with white inner liner.
However, one shoe from the pack was completely wrapped up with tan woven textile, making it look more eco-friendly and light. All five pairs have interesting soles. This rare collection boasts one of the finest materials that has the potential in changing the traditional way of constructing Nike Dunks.
