New York-based renowned textile supplier, Maharam continues to create innovative fabrics through the exploration of pattern, material, and technique. While the company pursues a holistic approach to design, a purposeful intermission by Nike was first given attention. This lead to the creation of one more Air Moc colorway called the Cactus.
The Nike Air Moc is often associated to house slippers because of its smooth-looking upper, yet this slip-on chukka is one of the best walking companions due to its soft fabrication. To give a more attractive appearance to the shoe, Maharam applied its own textile product which features tonal pattern in bright cactus tone. The upper sits on brown waffle rubberized sole, and it engages with brown leather heel tab and tongue pull tab. A tiny red/yellow Swoosh tab prompts along the collar.
