After four years of wearing the Nike Air More Uptempo, Scottie Pippen was looking for a little something new for the 1996 to 1997 basketball season. His answer came in the form of the Nike Air Max Uptempo III. It is hard to believe that it has already been 15 years since then and even harder to believe that this shoe has never been retried since the original was first released. That is until now, because we have just received the word on a retro version of this shoe.
It has not been confirmed yet just exactly how many colorways of this shoe will be retried, or if we will be seeing any new colorways, but one thing is for sure, is that this OG white, black and blue colorways will be releasing for sure. At the time of this writing they are expected to see a holiday 2010 release.
