Nike Air Force IV/STS Sneakers

One year after Air Force III was launched, Nike released the Air Force IV a.k.a Air Force STS, in 1989.  It has a big sturdy tongue logo with elephant print (some say its more like leopard print) on the side, but what really stand-out from other Air Force line and hooked me was the super high cut; it balances me just right when running across the court for a lay-up jump. The name STS, possibly gained from call name of space shuttle missions, really accommodate basketball players to jump in confidence.

Air Force STS was worn regularly by one of The Twin Tower legends of San Antonio Spurs, David Robinson in his rookie years.
