When genius minds play with sneakers it always brings a good thing. Aside from coming up with an original and unique design, designers also have a chance of expressing their own way of doing arts. An example of this great work is the most recent project done by Chris Gibbs of Union LA that utilizes the Nike Air Force 180 as its ultimate template.
The consistency in color management has been applied on this silhouette as it merges light tones with a little of bright tint. It is also noticeable that the mudguard of the shoe flaunts the infamous Safari print that was first introduced by Nike as part of its animal collection designs. The grey print over white background is an excellent mixture that flashes the beauty of the wilds. There’s a bright rose accent focused on the Swoosh and the lace holders while white and new slate fill the rest of the area. The collar however presents a colorful printed panel along with the tongue.
Nike is giving a preview on what to expect next year as we get closer to the 2012 Olympics games.
