This seems like kind of an unlikely collaboration given the fact that Kurt Cobain wasn’t the biggest fan of corporate sponsorship or anything having to do with “the man”. That being said, this is still an excellent looking sneaker pack that we think anyone who is a fan of the late Kurt Cobain will be able to appreciate. Actually we think that if a company besides Converse, such as Nike or Reebok had made these sneakers that they wouldn’t be received quite as well. The pack will be made up of two pairs of Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars in black and gray flannel, a dominant style during that punk rock era. Both shoes say “Punk Rock Means Freedom” on the lower side panels. We think that these shoes are a great way to honor Kurt Cobain without patronizing him in the least. These ones should be available very soon.
