During Michael Jordan’s NBA reign he has achieved a lot – awards, titles, fame, and even his own signature sneaker that ranged into almost two dozens of styles, some of which were showcased by himself and some were produced and debuted after he left his NBA career. And now, following MJ’s step is a well-known and popular player who has raised the Miami Heat’s flag, Dwayne Wade.
Aside from having a top selling jersey in the NBA, Wade is now facing a new journey that will lead him to becoming more prominent. Jordan Brand opens the door for Wade to have his first signature sneaker called the Jordan Fly Wade. Its debut is set to be on the 2011 NBA Playoffs, with Wade endorsing it to be followed by its in-store releases.
Specifically, the Jordan Fly Wade boasts a black/red perforated upper which is equipped with carbon fiber overlay and Phylon midsole with visible Air unit in the heel. The tongue bears a basketball-shaped logo with Wade’s jersey number, “3″ in a set of crosshairs. Jumpman logo appears along the heel whereas the outer sole comes icy clear.
