The founder of the A Bathing Ape, Nigo has recently collaborated with one of Japan’s sneaker giants, Converse in a project that highlights the brand’s famous Chuck Taylor. Nigo created a wonderful design with this silhouette allowing a duo of colors that gets manifested during the entire process.
As a legendary icon, the Converse Addict Chuck Taylor is taking another step with Nigo’s crafty vision as the first shoe pair delivers a brown canvas upper featuring white elements evident with the eyelets, stitching, rubber toe cap, and vulcanized rubber sole. Nigo provided a side opening with the use of brown zipper serving an easy access purpose.
The second pair however has a complete neat-looking all-white canvas upper that sits on all-white rubber sole. A patch of the Converse All Star logo appears along the heel side whereas the inside prompts a Converse Addict by Nigo label.
Converse and Nigo agreed to drop this pack by March 10th at select Converse outlets.
