Is there anyone who is heading for a weekend trip? Then you need to get everything ready – food and beverages, sun screen, eyewears, outfits, and of course, footwear. When it comes to sneakers, you have a wide variety to choose from but the hottest kind that jives the season is the espadrille.
Back in early French, there was a kind of shoe that was made of canvas upper with the toe and vamp cut in one piece and seamed to the rope sole at the sides. This traditional shoe is called the espadrille, a normally casual flat that usually has canvas or cotton fabric upper and a flexible sole made of rope or rubber material molded to look like rope. Among today’s most recognized espadrilles are the ones from BSIDED. Here is s brief history of the brand.
BSIDED was born through an original concept made by Stephane Bucco and later introduced to Mathieu as an artificial sneaker. The concept was simple – classic and traditional rope-soled sandal but it dresses up in a more streetwear and funky design. With this, the BSIDED was created taking the role as a footwear that plays in between the traditional rope-soled sandal and the sneaker.
Today, BSIDED is being fused with selected fabric upper and a sole made up of rubber to stiffen and protect the bottom. The upper features a minimalist tongue with the typical lacing system.
