Featured Shoes: Bo Jackson Interview With gowherehiphop.com Sneakers

Chicago’s number 1 hiphop blog, gowherehiphop.com conducted an interview with the legendary baseball and football player, Bo Jackson. Gowherehiphop.com hosted the promotion of the 2010 re-release of the Nike Trainer SC and to start it off, the crew asked Jackson about the first Nike Trainer SC which was introduced to the public 20 years ago.

Bo Jackson talked about the old Nike Trainer SC as the hottest and most popular shoe on the planet. In comparing the old shoe and the latest SC, Jackson mentioned that the 2010 re-release is lighter and stronger. Bo added, “it is a rebirth of a wonderful shoe that came out 20 years ago.”

At final point, Bo Jackson was asked, “Does Bo know hip hop?”, he replied, “I’m old school man, I’m old school, all blues and jazz… Hiphop? I don’t have the attitude for hiphop.”

The Trainer SC 2010 was specifically designed for strength conditioning and it features Nike Flywire connecting from the midsole to the laces for a supportive fit through the midfoot. It has a mid-cut mesh upper for ankle support and breathability, a one-piece tongue and vamp that reduces seams and adds comfort, plus a DiamondFLX pattern extending through the midsole and outsole for multidirectional support and flexibility. A Max Air unit was incorporated in the heel for impact protection and comfort whereas rubber wraps up the medial side of the toe for durability.
