The Nike Air Yeezy High is still ramping up the energy of Hype Beasts something similar to a Dragon ball Z character. In this Yeezy news update, we have photos of rapper GLC in a pair of the Nike x Kanye West shoes.
These are the black – black – grey Nike Air Yeezy Highs that we’ve already reported on but there’s a difference here. Notice, on these Black Air Yeezys that GLC’s shoe has a ‘bubble’ which is actually not just a bubble, but a shoe lace tying device of some sort.
The Air Yeezy shoe lace catch bubble actually seems to glow in the dark and keep your shoe strings from untying. If you wear them with straps off like Kanye, then it probably won’t matter but this will definitely light up a party if you are the first to get your hands on these Air Yeezys.
Sole Collector has reported the Air Yeezys are not coming out but we do not believe that matter. It does not make sense from a business standpoint for Nike nor Kanye West to drive everyone crazy about a sneaker then drop it. We shall see if the rumors are true but we expect the shoe to drop holiday season 2008 or early 2009.
