One more incredible looking shoe was unveiled by New Balance in cooperation with Japanese sneaker retailer, Atmos and vinyl toy geniuses from Secret Base factory. The model used in this project is New Balance’s 996, a typical running shoe which is made up of premium leather upper and rubber sole unit.
With the teams’ combined powers, the traditional New Balance 996 image turned into an animalistic appealing jungle notorious creature. Inspired by the wilds, this shoe which owns black premium leather upper with heavy perforations on the toe has been fused by tiger prints along the base. Gold hits create perfect accent along the side panel with the stunning “N” logo mounted on gold tiger printed layering. The same gold shade decorates the quarter panel, tongue, and inner liner.
To complement the tiger-inspired upper is a sole unit with gold speckles on the midsole. Each collaborator namesake appears on the insole with a colorful exotic print.
