Most Jordan fans will probably easily be able to remember this year as the 20th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s first NBA championship, which as we all know will definitely be celebrated by the brand with a boatload of new shoes. Just like any other monumentous date or event, the special edition shoes will be here and you can expect them to be great. The latest one that we are going to take a look at here is the Air Jordan VI Retro Lakers edition.
So how do they honor Michael’s great victory? They take the model of the shoe that he wore during that game and splash it with the colorway of the team that Micahel and the Bulls squashed that night. We have to say that seeing the Lakers colorway on this shoe is a really nice touch and definitely helps to remember a great piece of NBA history.
