Featured Shoes: Air Jordan Melo M6 Future Sole – Syracuse PE Sneakers

“If I was not playing basketball I would want to be a footwear designer.” That was Carmelo Anthony’s quoted line for the Future Sole 2010 competition. As the reigning winner of the 2009 Future Sole Design Contest enjoys the victory of his alternate career, his winning pair finds a way to get promoted by his alma mater, Syracuse University.

Today, we take a quick glance on the Air Jordan Melo M6 Future Sole – Syracuse PE which was adorned with exceptional design in a vibrant colorway. If you would notice, the first striking attribute of this shoe is the Orange patent leather strap on the midfoot which displays the Jumpman logo. This scene is followed by the wrap-around strap on the ankle with lace support bearing a quilted design stitching. A famous elephant print design covers the mudguard and serves as an overlay on the base and on the lace panel while the remainder comes in White pebbled leather. As for the shoe’s sole, it was done up in a traditional White mid and Orange outer sole.

By utilizing Anthony’s masterpiece, the Orange team is now conditioned enough to land on the Big East Tournament battlefield.

I love Melo and am an SU alum, but that shoe is just ghetto-hideous.
