It is hard to believe that it has been 15 years since we have first seen the Air Jordan IX Powder Blue, but all that has done is give Air Jordan fans more of a reason to appreciate the shoe and it’s lack of frequent releases. Admittedly, this one uses a slightly different color blue than on the original Powder Blue editions, but it is still close enough to give you that warm and fuzzy nostalgic feeling
This new sneaker is being called the Air Jordan IX Retro White, Black and University Blue. Everywhere that previously made use of the Powder Blue colorway is now going to be replaced with the University Blue color. Everything else that you remember and loved about the original sneaker, like the speed lacing system and the ornate soles will still be here the same as ever. Stay tuned for more updates regarding these shoes.
