We often see American rappers in sneakers. Will their footwear have big bearing on stage? I bet but only if they wear either Nike or Air Jordan which makes most of the stage appearances lately. Like hip hop rapper Ludacris, Curren$y who started his career in music while he was still a teenager is also a big Air Jordan fan. To prove this, one of his performances that was hosted by Angela Yee at the Santos Party House in New York City last July 19 was made lively with his pair of Air Jordan 3 Retros.
The classic sneaker that was once made popular by Michael Jordan in late 80′s is now in its retro mode. Curren$y showcased a pair of white Jordans that features the first and most prominent elephant print on the forefoot and heel. Red and blue accents come along to put some flair on. These Jordans appeared very visible with Curren$y’s loose cargo pants. Along with his black shirt with huge front print and his blue LA cap, Curren$y grabbed the moment to promote his new album, Pilot Talk which took an early release on July 13, 2010 under BluRoc Records that was distributed through Def Jam.
What else should we expect from Curren$y as a certified Air Jordan fanatic?
