Featured Shoes: Adidas Originals x Size? Cities Pack – London & Manchester Sneakers

Different brands, different packs. This is a common concept in the sneaker industry – enhancing existing models by applying inspiration from chosen cities. The insight is mostly based on the cultural aspect of a featured city. Some would depict the influences and popular places on the sneaker while others would merely incorporate the capital’s namesake.

That was exactly what Adidas did on a couple of Originals pairs with the help of UK-based shop, Size?. The teamwork is a tribute to the shop’s milestone and it pays honor to the cities that continuously helping Size? products boost in the market. London and Manchester were of particular, in which both cities received a pack of Adidas Originals x Size? goods.

As a homage to London, Adidas and Size? designed a Red shoe with Black accent that displays the name, London on the side panel, adjacent to the 3 Stripes logo. On the other hand, the Blue/Red pair reveals the Manchester label on the same spot. Both sneakers were done up in suede/nubuck combination with accompanying jackets in colors corresponding to each. The number “1/300″ embroidered on the London version, and the figure “1/500″ embossed on the Manchester version represent the number of pairs that Adidas will be releasing for each.

On March 20th, the London version became available at the store while the Manchester edition will officially drop on April 27, 2010. If you are into any of these tribute sneakers, you can check them out on the release dates specified.
