While most people talk about emerging technologies in the sneaker world, they are usually talking about the technologies that are coming to sneakers in recent years. The fact of the matter is that there have been interesting new technologies in the sneaker world for many years now, even back when people would never think of using the word technology with sneakers in the same sentence. Of course Nike was one of the first to introduce nice new technologies to their sneakers but adidas was right up there in the race with them. Today we are going to be taking a look at one of the latest sneakers to feature great technology inside of them, this is the new adidas Micropacer B-Sides Project.
Most people will remember this as the adidas shoe that had an embedded microprocessor inside which calculated distance, average pace as well as calories burned, which it still does today.
